I made your clothes
Join us in the Fashion Revolution.
Trying to improve conditions in the textile industry.
We are very lucky to have excellent partners in the factories we use to create our clothes. Our prime partner the Makyta Factory in our home town of Puchov has been a valuable asset in our efforts to build a brand using sustainable materials, ethically produced.
That does not mean we are not aware of the appalling working conditions often found in factories around the world. This year April 24th is the sixth anniversary of the collapse of the Rana Plaza building in Bangladesh that killed 1,138 textile factory workers and injured another 2500.
We are using this day to remember those lives lost and to join the Fashion Revolution, which is a movement intended to improve conditions and enhance the transparency of the textile industry, by making clear where brand’s clothing is actually made.
Accountability is an important step to encourage brands to take responsibility for what impact they are making on lives and the environment.
Isadore has always embraced the goal to keep production close to home.
