The soul of urban style with cycling flair
I bought both models in May 2021 and wore them daily since. It's a good looking shoe. Not exactly white, a bit off-white, but it really popped underneat a black-light. The reflecting surfaces surrounding the ankle have a oil-slick quality to them reflecting green to purple depending on the lighting conditions. The boa (which, technically, is not a boa) system works fine and is a true eye catcher. It once came off after a brush past a ledge but reattaching them was no big deal. There are three downsides to these shoes: one, the insoles are very very basic so I had to insert my own (I never wear insoles); two, the fabric inside of the heelcups are all worn through after six months of use (perhaps leather reinforcement here?); three, the sole profile wears off readily. So the title of this review is apt.

We’re excited to be releasing this shoe that is our second collaboration with Novesta. The fusing of the classic Novesta sneaker shapes with an added Urban cycling twist makes this a chic trainer for any occasion. We’ve used the Marathon classic shape this time, which was THE running shoe for the Eastern Europeans in the 1970s and 1980s.The premium suede material in combination with super soft and breathable mesh sourced in Italy means that they are not only attractive but functional.
The iconic Urban Trail platform translates well into an urban cycling shoe since the grip works as well on the pedal as it does on the trail. The four panels are made from a black reflective material that will enhance your visibility whether you are walking or cycling after dark. They are entirely hand made in Slovakia, from the rubber sole on up.

My favorite to go shoes
Whenever i need to chose a shoe quickly, i end up with this pair. It's because they are really comfortable and thanks to the amazing boa-laces easily adjustable (especially when on the bike) . The big areas of added reflective material gives me a secure feeling when i'm on the bike at dark. I have both the green and the black version and get a lot of compliments regarding the amazing look. The only downer is that the sole of my first pair has worn down quickly after wearing it occasionally for a year. I don't think there is a way to resole the shoes (but i'm not sure). I'm usually a 42, regarding the sizechart i bought a 41, wich fits tight, but good.Show full review
