What our materials say about our values

We started Isadore with the goal of creating cycling clothing that will improve your rides without damaging the environment. From the outset, our choice of materials has defined us as a brand. Whether we are talking ethically raised Merino wool, or fully recyclable tech materials, our products never lose sight of the need to be high-impact on the bike and low-impact to the environment.

“I have been meaning to get a long sleeve winter jersey for a long time. For some reason right up until I bought the thermerino I had not considered a marino top. I have used this on longer, shorter, flat and hills ride in temperatures between 2 and 14 degrees and could not be happier with the performance.

During these temperatures I have been fine without a base layer or gillet. The fit for me was spot on and it is by far the most comfortable piece of kit I own. I could easily buy one and use it as a casual top rather than on the bike its that comfortable and looks great! Keeps you toasty while efficiently wicking sweat away to prevent over heating and discomfort.”

“This jacket is excellent for rides in colder conditions. I have used it during dry and wet conditions and the jacket kept me dry and warm. For rides in heavy rain an additional rain jacket may be useful, but for lighter showers it is definitely adequately.

The workmanship is top notch, the fabrics seem to be well chosen. Last but not least one of the main benefits of the jacket for me is the fit. I am 1,95m tall with 78kg weight and I wear “Large”. With other brands I often had the problem that “Medium” is to short in body and sleeve length while the body fit is good, but “Large” is often too loose. Luckily not with this jacket, it has an great tailored fit, also for taller skinny guys.”

“Awesome Jersey for weather around 10° degrees, if you want to ride in lower temps - go with a short sleeve baselayer - no issue. Great look and performance orientated cut - absolutely no restrictions, feels really comfy.

One thing to consider in my view: If there´s a lot of fresh wind, don´t forget to bring your vest/gilet, as it has no windblocking function (i guess due to breathability). Not directly a downsizer, but something to (possibly) consider.”

“I have been really impressed with this base layer. It is a great fit, and super warm so far. I have been riding in 1 - 10 degrees and the base layer and a Gabba jersey have been a perfect combination.

I really like the quality of the base layer and hope it last longer than my previous merino layer, from another leading brand, which disintegrated after a couple of years. Customer service and packaging are a joy also.”
