  Feels Like an Old Friend

  I first wore my new Isadore Debut shorts for a fifty-mile ride, and they felt like old friends. The chamois was comfortable without being bulky, the shorts snug without being too tight. I might buy another pair.

  Great value for money

  Compared to Le Col bibs around the same price point these are fantastic. Sure, I wouldn't expect the chamois to be great on a 6+ hour ride, but for up to 80k rides, they're the most comfortable bibs I own. 1,86m and 95kgs (the least of which is muscle), XL seems pretty spot on. The chamois design is great if you have ever had pressure issues with your perineum.

  Perfect bib

  The Bib sits suberp and i really like the feeling and the compression. Sizing is an issue, one size bigger is always a good idea at Isadore.

  Skvělé kraťasy za dobrou cenu

  Mám 192 cm a 93 kg a velikost XL je přesně akorát. Padnou mi ještě lépe než oblíbené než Castelli (3XL). Střih je na mou postavu skutečně přesně padnoucí. Materiál je příjemný a dostatečně pružný, zakončení nohavic je dobré, nohavice drží na místě. Šle jsou jemné, neškrtí a neposouvají se. Vložka je příjemná, jen trochu nižší, bude vhodná na vyjížďky max do 3 hodin.

  Beware of the chamois

  It took me a while to figure out sizing. I ended up with a size M at 181cm an 96kg, which sounds weird but they fit me well. L was too long on the legs. However, I feel like, M is still a tad bit too long and compression could be even higher. Sizing recommendations did not work for me at all. Also, the chamois pad is very thin, almost as thin as in a triathlon suit. Doesn't work for me on longer rides. I will have to sell them again or use them for super-short rides. Quality is good, but I expected a better fit and more comfort.

  Vyzkoušet nějaký kousek od Isadore jsem chtěl už nějakou dobu a proto jsem využil akce na kraťasy. Při postavě 184cm, 90kg je velikost XL naprosto v pořádku. Nejvíce jsem se po prvním vyzkoušení bál šráků, že budou řezat do trapézů a nebo budou dřít bradavky. Po první jízdě šly pochybnosti stranou a ani jsem o nich nevěděl. Guma na konci nohavic by mohla být širší, což by bylo pohodlnější, ale určitě to není žádný problém a nedochází k nějakému nepohodlí. Vložka je docela tenká, ale překvapivě velice pohodlná. Pokud jsou tyto "základní" kraťasy tak pohodlné, jaké asi budou vyšší modely?

  Disappointing

  I know these are Isadore's entry level but they're still not cheap. The issue is with the chamois which is the same one they use in higher models. It's too low density and I felt very sore after a short ride of 30km. Please can you publish this review as you did not publish my last one. If you don't I'll be adding it to many other review websites.

  I think these are the worst bibs I' ve ever worn. I know these are not the best or "expensive" ones from Isadore catalog but leg liners are from 2000's and pad is very bad, fit is ok. I made a mistake and wore them straight in a 6 hr ride and I was "de-butt"ed :D I don't recommend.

  Comfy Bib

  I've bought my First Men Bib Shorts from Isadore in 2017. The pad wore out after roughly 30.000km I would say. So I kind of need to buy a new bib every 1,5 years or so. + Very good padding + Comfortable + M fits okay (not perfect), I am 180 and weight 73 kg. (I would try S but I am afraid it will be too tight). +- durablity okay + very good hold on the things + If it were 20 EUR cheaper, it would be 1+ in terms of price to quality - The fabric is a little bit too soft which is why I made holes in the Bib with my bare fingers when putting it on. Ever since I am very cautios when putting them on. However, I always patched the areas where I put holes in it. This has also happend with the Thermo Bibs from Isadore. They are actually worse. Recommendation: + Would be nice if the pad would have a darker color. It starts to look quite ugly very soon.

  Used these shorts twice now, once on the Turbo and once in the heat of Dubai desert, they performed perfectly on both occasions, and improved once washed. They are as comfortable as other premium brands with a much bigger price tag. Well done.

  Ich habe mich aufgrund der vielen positiven Feedbacks und nach langen Überlegungen und Vergleichen dazu entschlossen mir dies Hose zu kaufen. Nachdem ich damit einige längere Ausfahrten absolviert habe kann ich nur bestätigen was schon viele vor mir geschrieben haben. Die Hose passt ausgezeichnet und vorallem der Sitzpolster macht einen tollen Job und lange Ausfahrten zu einem Vergnügen. Selbst bei höheren Temperaturen und Steigungen fühle ich mich absolut wohl damit. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung von mir. Wenn es jemanden hilft, ich bin 1,78 mit 83 kg und habe Größe „L“.

  Well. Since I found out about Isadore I think I won't buy any other short elsewhere. This short is great, fits like a glove ;-) and seriously I advise every rider to check these shorts.   This shorts are amazing. I have had a pair for a year. It was recommended to me by the owner of Cycling Closet in Adelaide, Australia. I am a small guy that requires an XS and it hard finding an XS from a brand that gets the pad placement right. I love these shorts. I also have the climbers bib, which is excellent as well.... it's coming to that time where i would need to get another pair of shorts... I definitely am gonna stay loyal. Keep up the good work and maintain the values. I wish there was more apparel for tropical weather riding.

  wore these on Sunday for a six hour charity ride. it started out cold, then really warmed up. throughout the entire ride the shorts helped keep me at the right temperature. in addition they are so comfortable, some shorts after a few hours, then a coffess stop start to chaff - not these they remained super comfy all day. would highly recommend.

  Got this bib in January, so I haven't used it for those long rides outdoor yet, only indoor training. But it has impressed be so far. Feels good and comfortable all over. Nice fit, looks good, and the pad is comfortable. Really looking forward to the spring and warmer weather. I would definitely recommend this bib to everyone.

  Perfect for a long days riding. Good pad, and really well made. Customer service and delivery is exceptional. Couldn't be more helpful!!. One small improvement (And I have told them) is the seam that runs up the front of the thigh can sometimes rub, but only after 4 or more hours, and not a massive issue.

  I'm 75 kilos and 5'9" and the medium fit very nicely. The Lycra quality is really good. But...... My ass got sore after only 30 miles and I've tried these shorts on several occasions. The padding isn't very good so these don't work as a high end bib short for me and I would not recommend them.

  Very comfortable and understated design

  I have been cycling for over 20 years and have tried lots of bibs. These are right up there. A really good fit. I'm 5'9", 32" waist and about 75kg and the medium are spot on. The lycra is soft yet still does its job. Really nice understated design. First ride today 55 miles and didn't notice they were on. Can recommend and may get another pair.

  This was my first exchange with Isadore, I wish I'd found them sooner! Initially I ordered a size too big and found the customer service and exchange service, proactive and very professional. The packaging is beautiful, understated and oozes quality. The product doesn't disappoint. It's vey well made, comfortable and after several rides/washes still looks like new. I'd reiterate other reviews - wash on a cool wash - you want these to last a long time, as for me they have now become the first choice for all my rides since I've had them.

  Have another brand with "game changing" features, aware of the pad after 100Km, although never had to "reposition" myself, these are even better. 145 Km today-2200m climbing (first ride), never knew they were there-total comfort. Absolute winner. Can climbers bibs be better? will have to really up the game to beat these.

  Just got received these this week. Top quality and great chamois. Been really struggling for comfort on new bike with my Castelli bibs. These were super comfortable and worn with leg warmers on a cold day (6 deg C) today were perfect. Really pleased look good and this along with new Isadore long sleeve jersey all commented on by the guys I was out with. Well done Isadore, superb product!

  Having taken a bit of a gamble on these shorts before a trip to Mallorca, I'm glad I did. They only took 4 days from ordering to arriving (UK) in the coolest packaging. However, there's substance to the style. Their first trip out was 140km up and down Puig Major and Sa Calobra. This was followed with another 4 days of 100km+ every day in sun & rain. The best compliment to pay any shorts (or any cycling kit) is that you didn't notice wearing them. That was certainly the case with these. Having used plenty of other brands (Rapha, Assos, Santini, Giordana, Pearl Izumi, Specialized, Endura) I'm sold on Isadore. Simply the best shorts I've ever owned.

  Ordered online knowing very little about Isadore other than the pricing was decidedly better than the other UK and major Australian Instagram brands, stunning packaging and cool branding aside these shorts perform, I initially ordered medium which sadly after a couple of rides I discovered were a little too big and even though Isadore coouldn't exchange they sorted me out with a super discount on a second pair a size smaller, not many companies would do that. Super comfortable, nice long leg but not overly long, printed washing size and wash instructions mean no nasty label, chamois definitely the best I have used, nice subtle branding and a lovely satin sheen to the material. 69kg 6ft tall chose medium but a little big, plenty of stretch in the fabric.

  Where have these bibs been all these years. By far the most comfortable well made bibs anywhere. I was concerned they would be a little small, but they are perfect!! The most comfortable bibs I have ever worn and rivals the most premium brands out there. Fantastic for long rides and lots of miles on the bike. Very good cut and fit that feels sleek and fast on the bike. Any cyclist will tell you bibs are the way to go. Anyone who has ridden is these will tell you Isadore is the only choice.

  The best shorts I have ever worn

  I have tired the lot, assos, castelli, craft, the list goes on and on. But these are the pick of the bunch - by quite a long way in fact. They are just a tiny little fraction longer in the leg length than most of the other "pro" brands. To get the perfect lenght is an annoying process! Too short and you feel like a exposed italian gymnast, too long and its yoga time. Im 5ft10, 78kgs, 31inch inside leg (thicker than average cycling legs). Medium are a dream. Snug, sporty with no excess but not too tight. Ive bought 2 pairs and will only buy these from now on. Great job Isadore.

  Very good quality

  I have bought bibs from two other companies; one company in Switzerland and another based in Scotland.When compared to both pairs of bibs from the other manufacturers, Isadore make a better priced, better quality garment that proves to be very comfortable over longer distances, and I have found that the, Isadore bibs are cooler in higher temperatures and are better fitted.

  Really great

  These bibs are incredibly comfortable. The fit is right on. I'd say the size chart is very accurate. Chamois is not too thick or bulky. Five minutes into the ride and they disappear. These bibs belong in the top tier, no doubt. And for the price, they can't be beat. The customer service at Isadore is also superb.

  The chamois functions well even when I took a 200+ ride in a deadly hot summer in Taiwan. I love the coldblack fabric especially it makes my leg comfy over 30deg Celcius. If the back fabric would make a larger area get away my body heat, that would be super!

  Understated yet top performing

  As with most Isadore clothing, they don't shout, but are subtly and thoughtfully designed, whilst well made and finished. Just rode on a 206km Audax through southern England on a warm June day. In retrospect I can't recall any discomfort on or off the bike. So if it looks good and feels good, what's not to like?

  Great bibs!

  Bought these bibs trough the bundle package. The customer service has been excellent from the start, and they responded to all my questions quickly. They shipped my order the same day. The bibs arrived in nice packaging and has a luxurious feeling. The pad is very good and there is no discomfort even on longer rides. Fit is excellent. I am 184 and 85kgs and went for the large. I have only had them for about a month, but they appear to be of high quality and will hopefully last for years.

  Comfort & Quality

  Isadore bibs are excellent. I like how they fit and you can forget you are wearing them. Pads can be a personal thing, but these are superb for me and stay comfortable on long rides. The bibs are light and stylish, and mine have stayed like new after many washes, but I would recommend that quality technical garments are only washed with similar delicate items at 30 degrees and use a proper sports wash like Halo. This will keep your treasured/favourite Isadore bibs, jerseys, jackets etc as good as new. All of mine look like they just came out of the box. These bibs exhibit all of the usual Isadore attention to detail and are very high quality. If you look after them then they are very good value, because you will want to keep on wearing them! I'm 1.78m (5' 10"), 75kg (166lbs), 32" waist and size L fits me perfectly.

  These are my first bib shorts, so I can't really compare them to other bibs. However, my experience with the Isadore aftersales has been outstanding. I didn't know which size I needed for a correct fit, and the Isadore team were a tremendous help in picking the right one. I purchased both the small and medium (179cm, about 64kg) and ended up choosing the latter. I'd say these are true to size. They seem really comfortable too, compared to my non-bibs cycling shorts. Highly recommended.

  these bibs rock

  First to mention is the chamois on this bibs is the best I have tried by far... next is the fit, which is superb, since I sometimes have problem with bibs as I am 193cm, 80kg and long skinny legs (96cm inseem) bibs sometimes are too loose at the cuff, but these are a nice tight fit in XL... in general this product is of a very high quality and I would (and will:)) recommend it to my friends...

  Bib shorts

  First order and pleased with them. The only thing of notice is after a few washes the elastic in the legs have lost shape unlike those from say Rapha which maintains full shape. However, quality and pricing is great.

  Comfortable and recommended.

  Another great product from Isadore. I've done a few hours already in this nice bib. Looks great, nice construction, comfortable materials. But what makes or breaks a bib is the chamois. Well, this particular chamois is awesome. It felt a little thin and discreet in the beginning, but after two hours it did feel the same. No pain, no rubbing or scrubbing and no sign of sleepy nuts. So, one more happy ass in the world.

  First impressions excellent

  It's difficult to judge the comfort of shorts after only a few rides, but first impressions are very strong. As with all other Isadore products these arrived within a couple of days of ordering in the usual beautifully packaged box and are of a luxury finish. I took advantage of the free returns so ordered an L and XL size (I'm 6th, 13st) and decided on the L. My return shipping was refunded within a day or two.

  Great bib which is up there with the big guys!

  Five Stars!

  Among all other bib shorts I'm using (two Raphas, one Assos, one Exteondo, one Pearl Izumi) this one is clearly the best fit for me. Tested on the 322km ride of the 'Mecklenburger Seen Runde' in Germany this May, I found that the padding suits me perfectly. Will wear it next week in Sweden on the Vätternrundan.
