The fabric’s ability to resist the wind is due to its higher density, so unlike membrane materials it is also extremely breathable and effectively wicks away unwanted moisture. Increased elasticity in four directions and freedom of movement make the vest stand out and suitable for everyday riding. Its fabric is treated on the outside with a Fluorine-free DWR surface finish, which increases the material’s ability to repel water and dirt. Complete with three spacious back pockets and silicone tape at the bottom hem to hold the vest in place. It is extremely compact and features a two-way zipper that slides smoothly and makes it much easier to ventilate when you need to move it up or down just a few centimeters.

Fantastic jacket

Fantastic jacket… like the one with long sleeves … great fabric/material and zipper which seems to last … Its cut good for my body : 1,85/83 L is good M a bit too close for a gilet .. while I always wear m for jerseys and even S for bibs ..

Super light Wind Gilet

I like this Gilet as it is very light and comfortable, easy to pack and nice to wear when ist goes down the road after climbing. I am 176cm and 80kg and first bought it in Size M, which was too tight for me as I am more the athletic bodytype with a wider chest and shoulders - size L fits now perfectly. Customer Servikce Support was excellent and so all went well

Excellent value essential

Brilliant Gillet perfect for early morning starts and for me an essential piece of gear! Love the colour which has a blue/gray feel and easy to wear with other combos. 2 way zip and 3 pockets and extremely easy to stow in jersey. For the variable UK weather this will be with me on most rides. Highly recommended! Size XS 58kg 170

Cumple sobradamente su función cómo capa auxiliar para protegerte del viento en bajadas y días frescos por la mañanas, y después poder quitarlo al mejorar el día ya qué al plegarlo no ocupa nada, tiene cremallera principal de doble apertura para mejorar ventilación en caso necesario y 3 bolsillos traseros que van genial.

Excellent for early spring rodes

I am a few rides in to this and it’s been a game changer for my early spring rides, adds an extra layer of warmth and protection without being too bulky. The only drawback is the sizing which was a bit confusing, it’s slightly tighter in the same size as one of isadores climbers yerseys. Which was unexpected but it works

Extremely versatile and valuable piece of kit

I feel like the value for money you get with this gilet is quite unrivalled. The product description says it's good for 8 degrees and above, but for me personally it also works great as an extra protective top layer even in winter, in 2-5 degrees C on top of a long sleeve merino base and jersey. Along with that I look forward to using it for descents in spring and autumn, so it will be useful almost year-round. It is extremely lightweight, packable and definitely more breathable than membrane materials. Plus unlike the jacket it has 3 standard back pockets. Properly rolled up it takes up barely any space in a back pocket, so I take it with me on pretty much every ride now.

Vrecká

Mám vestu aj bundu. Vrecká by som našil presne opačne. Na bunde chýbajú. Tá by sa dala nosiť ako vrchná vrstva na nátelník, no v tom prípade nemáte vrecká. Naopak, vestu nosím vždy na drese s vreckami. Vestu často počas výjazdu vyzliekam a obliekam podľa meniacich sa podmienok. Vrecká preto nevyužívam, zbytočne vrstvia materiál na chrbte a kazia skladnosť vesty. Mimo toho - materiál je veľmi príjemný. Má svoje limity, no teraz v týchto jarných podmienkach +10°C so studeným vetrom, kedy by už membrána nestíhala odvetrávať, je to skvelá vrchná vrstva. Odolnosť materiálu nieje až taká akoby mohla vyznieť z popisu a v lese si treba dávať pozor na kríky a tŕne. Zips je skvelý no dvojcestnému som na chuť neprišiel. Horšie sa zapína ako klasický a po rozopnutí spodného bežca sa aj tak nedá zapnúť naspať jednou rukou vďaka silnej gume v spodnej časti.
