Pull off into the wind
There are few things more exciting and more feared in cycling than Echelons. Mastering the art of riding into the wind, taking your turn, rolling through and off as smoothly as possible all while riding millimetres from your companions isn’t easy… but get it right, and you’ll never fear the wind again.
Our Echelon collection combines high class materials with extreme aero performance, allowing you to slice through the windiest of rides and take your turn on the front with confidence.
"When Echelons start in the peloton, it's a unique race situation without parallel in any other sport. In order to navigate echelons successfully, you need to be strong physically, you need to be matured tactically enough to read the race and you need to be able to ride on flat, at high speed, in aero position glued millimeters from the front wheel of the rider in front of you. It’s not easy, but it is beautiful."
"That is why we have chosen to name our most performance oriented line Echelon."

"Echelons are created when there are strong crosswinds. In that moment, with the perfect conditions, the front of the peloton will start to ride on maximum speed, spreading across the whole road, taking short fast turns before pulling off into the wind. The space for the riders in front is of course limited by the width of the road and can change constantly. The results of riding hard in Echelon can be seen in just couple of hundred meters as the race splits across the road."
"In one day races whole team can dominate if they can get just one echelon situation right. Stage races are usually not won in the echelons, but you can certainly lose the general classification by missing one."
