The Rift
Cycling and timekeeping have always gone hand in hand.
Together with Baltic, we created a special edition of our race jerseys inspired by The Rift, an iconic gravel race through the raw and unpredictable landscape of Iceland.

Made for The Rift
At the junction of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, The Rift takes riders across the volcanic landscape of southern Iceland. Nearly 900 cyclists line up to race each other, but just as importantly, the elements around them.
For its seventh edition, Baltic became the Official Timekeeper of The Rift and created a special Hermétique The Rift watch inspired by Iceland. The watch's palette draws from volcanic black, moss green and glacial water, colours taken directly from the landscape surrounding the race.
With Baltic co-founder Etienne sharing our love for cycling and racing, bringing Isadore into the project felt natural. Our role was simple: create performance apparel that could become part of the project and, more importantly, be raced in Iceland.
Together with Baltic and Specialized, the idea developed beyond the watch itself. A custom-painted Specialized Diverge and Isadore race kit were created around the same visual world, with one common idea behind them: good-looking, high-performance products made first and foremost to be used.
From Iceland into the jersey
Designed by Cécile Arnould, the kit takes its inspiration from Iceland's raw landscape. The winding curves and constant movement of braided rivers run through the graphic, while volcanic forms and vivid colours contrast against the dark, almost lunar terrain of The Rift.
The original sponsor kit was worn by Romain and Juliette as they raced the 140 km course through river crossings, long climbs, hours of headwind, black sand, snow and Iceland's famously unpredictable weather.
A place where preparation only gets you so far. Where sometimes you race the clock, and sometimes simply getting through what's in front of you is enough.
Now we're releasing our version of that original race kit in both Short Sleeve and Long Sleeve Jerseys.
