Signature Hardshell Jacket
The new Signature Hardshell Jacket takes the place in our winter lineup as our most advanced jacket. Water resistant and insulated without feeling bulky, this is a jacket to get you through the wettest, coldest winters.
This jacket is made for the harshest winter conditions, and offers enough protection even in the snow and rain. The Signature Hardshell Jacket works best in very cold temperatures that will also be impacted by wet weather. Constructed from the top of the range waterproof materials, the Signature Hardshell Jacket has the ideal thickness to protect the rider from the cold in the harshest climates. Nearly half of the jacket surface is constructed from fully reflective material, which gives the rider an excellent level of visibility in the gloomy winter months. The rear hem has an extra-long foldable flap that will protect the backside of the rider from road spray when it is unfolded.

For riding in wet AND cold condition
This is a Hardshell Jacket that definitely protects you against any harsh wet whether condition out there. Water does not soak in at all. The black parts are made from a heavier robust material. The other material is more flexible and slightly transparent. As seen in the pictures it is reflective. This also means the jacket appears black in daylight – stylish but not very visible. For sizing follow the suggestions on the website. The cut itself is excellent. I do have the excellent Marsala Merino Softshell in M, this one I need in L. It is not as stretchy as the merino. This is not really an insulation jacket. As with any hardshell you need to build that layer up underneath: merino shirt and/or jersey, depending on how cold it is. What I miss in the Isadore Line is an insulation jacket like the outdoor companies Vaude or Loeffler offer - with Polartec Alpha insulation layers at the exposed spots. This to me is the best thing you can wear in dry&very cold conditions. This Medio Jacket I would pick if I don’t know what whether conditions to expect. If it is known to stay dry outside, I’d choose another one, as the breathability is not as good as with a Softshell. There are no zip openings to adjust venting. I love the outer pockets and zip sealed inner pocket at the back. The rubber band at the lower back should be adjustable, as it too lose to make the jacket fit tight at the body – air comes in. I love the long easy flip out tail of the jacket. For the neck I need a buff or high collar to seal. So the main message is: take it if you’re riding in wet AND cold conditions.Show full review -
